My story
I started social sales in 1999 as a mom of a toddler & a baby. I was a total introvert & terrified of public speaking. Before my first "demo", I had made index cards to remember every line of sales lingo and "objections" to prepare me for my presentation. 🫣 Yes, type A recovering perfectionist here.
5 minutes in, scared to death, I had an epiphany as I recalled "you can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want".
I don’t know why I remembered that Zig Ziglar quote from a little booklet I used to sell as a hotel gift shop clerk as a teen, but it has stuck with me since the age of 15.
I ditched the queue cards and told the ladies at my demo the truth - that I was a nervous wreck. 🙈 I asked if it would be ok if I stopped trying to be all professional and just helped them shop. That was a $2,000 sales day for me and it was FUN!
Since then, I’ve led teams, trained thousands, earned trips & trophies, etc. I share this with you because I want you to know that what I teach is not theory - it’s what I actually do as a top income earner in my social selling business today. I am not a guru with a formal education in marketing... actually, I am a psychology major dropout who decided to hone in on my superpower - building connections that lead to sales.
You don't need a huge following to be successful at social selling
When social media became mainstream, I leveraged that skill in selling with authenticity, and haven't looked back since. Connecting with TONS of people around the world, help them get what they want, and make money? In comfy clothes? 🙌🏻 This is the way.
I have had a long career in social selling since then, both in the field as a rep as well as on the corporate side of the industry.
The networking connections I have made also led to some incredible opportunities such as becoming the President of a global organization for female entrepreneurs called the Heart Link Women's Network and becoming an integral part of the digital marketing team (social media + copywriting) behind prominent brands such as Les Brown and Ziglar, Inc. (yes, THAT Ziglar - talk about a God-wink & full circle moment.)🥹🙏🏻
Although those were "work-from-home" roles, I was able to retire from both (and retired my husband as well when he was just 42 years old), to focus social selling & speaking/training.

Your business shouldn't cause burnout or sacrifice authenticity
At the same time, I am living proof that you don’t have to “grind” 24/7 to have success. You can have a soft life and strong results.
Showing up on social media should feel normal, authentic, and similar to walking into a room full of your FRIENDS and just chatting about what's new in your world or something you're excited about.
To make it fun and simple, I developed a formula for posting on social media that anyone can do in an hour or less, eliminating burnout and overwhelm while giving you results and sales + other resources so you don't have to overthink it anymore.
